ENG409 Interdisciplinary Approach to English Studies
Course Aims This course facilitates exploration of interdisciplinary connections within the English Studies domain. The course encourages senior year students to explore connections between the related English Studies disciplines of literature, linguistics, cultural studies and translation they have studied in the first three years of the programme. The course enables students to build an in-depth understanding of the interdisciplinary nature of English Studies through guided discussion and analysis of aspects of the four sub-disciplines that go beyond the foundational concepts they have studied in earlier years.
