The International Virtual Student Seminar (2025)
The seminar provides an exchange platform for Hong Kong students from College of International Education of Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong Shue Yan University, and Kazakhstani students from KIMEP University to present their research projects and share ideas on the topic "Narratives".

Presentation Topic: "Narratives in Anatomy of a Fall": Analyzing the Judgement and Predicament in the Film
Before the seminar, I have done lots of revises on the presentation by Dr. Rebekah’s guidance, she has taught me lots about how to make a better presentation such as arranging the pages and the contents and highlighting the key points. And during the seminar, I have learned different kinds of narrative skills such as advertisement, storytelling and games from professors’ and students’ presentations. The most impressive topic for me is the different countries’ people’s insights on LGBT.

Presentation Topic: "Narratives in Anatomy of a Fall": Analyzing the Judgement and Predicament in the Film
The seminar was remarkable, giving me a valuable opportunity to share my opinions with teachers and students from various universities. It was also a great chance to learn from presenters of diverse cultural backgrounds. Their thought-provoking opinions broadened my horizons and deepened my understanding of how diverse perspectives affect storytelling.

Presentation Topic: "Beyond the Page: A Narrative Breakdown of Disco Elysium"
For me, presenting "Beyond the Page: A Narrative Breakdown of Disco Elysium" at this international seminar was a rewarding academic milestone. Sharing my analysis of ludonarrative resonance with peers from Hong Kong and Kazakhstan sparked insightful cross-cultural dialogue. The virtual format fostered dynamic exchanges on storytelling innovations, and attending diverse panels deepened my appreciation for narrative’s role across media and societies.
