Wendy Tang (FHWien der WKW, Austria)

In the academic year of 2024, I embarked on an enriching journey as an exchange student in Vienna, Austria. Living and studying in this historic city allowed me not only to engage with diverse perspectives in the classroom but also to immerse myself in the vibrant cultural life of Europe. From wandering through museums and concert halls to enjoying quiet moments at local cafés, every experience contributed to a deeper appreciation of art, history, and daily life. This journey also became a time of self-reflection, teaching me resilience, independence, and the value of embracing different ways of living. I am truly grateful for this unforgettable chapter, and the memories I created in Vienna will always remain close to my heart.

Allison Mak (Chung-Ang University, Korea)

In the fall of 2022, I went on an unforgettable journey as I participated in an exchange program to Korea at Chung-Ang University. Throughout this journey, I had the privilege of immersing myself in a culturally diverse community, meeting new friends from all over the globe. One of the highlights of my exchange experience was becoming a leader of the Global Student Internship (GSI) club. In GSI I worked with both Korean buddies and international students to plan events and activities tailored for exchange students. This valuable experience allowed me to enhance my communication and organizational skills. I am so grateful that I have the opportunity for the exchange program. I will forever cherish the memories created and lessons learned during the exchange period at Chung-Ang University.

My exchange experience in the U.K. has been one of the most remarkable moments in my life so far. Being immersed in a new environment, I eagerly stepped out of my comfort zone for self-reliance. Meeting new friends from diverse backgrounds broadened my horizons and enhanced my cultural awareness. Engaging in active debates and discussions in class fuelled my passion for leaning and researching. This opportunity has been life-changing, shaping me into an independent and adaptable individual, ready to embrace new challenges - big or small- in the future. this experience will for evermore hold a significant role in my heart.

Bonnie Fung (Adam Mickiewicz University, Poland)

In my second semester of the third year study, I had the opportunity to participate in an exchange program in Poland. This experience taught me the immense importance of culture in different regions. I feel grateful to Shue Yan for providing me with this opportunity to explore and understand the cultures of other countries. It made me realize that our current way of life is deeply rooted in our own culture and history. There is no absolute right or wrong, but our daily habits are inseparable from our society and civilization.
