Interdisciplinary has been a cornerstone of the B.A. in English at HKSYU for many years and we were delighted to have two students nominated for the Outstanding Interdisciplinary Research Proposal Award 24-25 sponsored by the CIEBPR.
A Year 2 undergraduate student, Ramsky Li, presented his proposal on fan fiction narratives and marginalized communities whilst a Year 2 MPhil student, Anna Yin, proposed a study on gendered choices in translation using eye-tracking software.
Being on the shortlist for the prize is an impressive accomplishment and we congratulate both our students for their creativity and hard work.
