English 409 Interdisciplinary Approaches to English Studies - Poster Presentation 

As part of the English programme, Year 4 students have to take a core course in Interdisciplinary Approaches to English Studies. The course is taught by four instructors focusing on the areas of Literary and Cultural Studies, Linguistics and Translation. One of the assessment tasks requires students to design a poster representing an aspect of 'interdisciplinarity' . Students are free to choose their topic and design. They must then present their poster and its ideas in a five-minute speech before answering questions posed by their instructors and classmates. We believe this is a positive and stimulating way to round off their four years as English majors. You can see some of the diverse and fascinating topics presented this year.
