My research interests lie in modernist literature, with a particular focus on narrative experimentation and the exploration of themes such as identity, displacement, and temporality. I am especially interested in the works of Katherine Mansfield, Virginia Woolf, and Jean Rhys. My previous research has examined how these authors challenge traditional narrative forms to explore the complexities of individual and cultural identity.
I am currently a Co-I on an FDS-funded project to organize a conference titled "Hans Christian Andersen: Life and Afterlife". The conference will explore Andersen’s literary legacy and his influence on broader traditions. I will present on the role of allegory in literary texts, connecting Andersen’s works to wider literary contexts.
